Re: “The long-form census won’t recognize non-binary Canadians

Gender may not be binary, buy biological sex is. This article is ridiculous.

Re: “Occupy 2.0

From reading this article, and discovering that without their tent city the occupiers are facing homelessness, the only steps they should be taking are:

1) Shower
2) Go to a library, set up an email account with any of the free email service providers
3) Write a resume
4) Get a god damned job.

I've been working since I was 14 years old. I make enough to pay my rent and utilities. I make enough to feed myself. I make enough to make payments on the credit cards I was ridiculously irresponsible with when I was younger. I accept responsibility for the financial situation I'm in, why can't these assholes do the same?

Re: “Occupy What?

They fought and died for our freedoms, it's true. We take one day out of the year to honor their memories, and it's always in the same place. I think out of respect for our fallen they should move, if only for a few days.

Re: “Foolish Walkers

Pedestrians have the right of way in *crosswalks* marked or unmarked, these exist at every intersection.

If a pedestrian is crossing anywhere else, they must yield right-of-way to vehicles. Failure to do so may result in a fine of up to $394.50 (or death). At a light-controlled intersection, failing to obey pedestrian crossing lights can result in a fine of up to $164.50.

So no, a jaywalking moron doesn't have right of way. It is a common misconception that pedestrians always have the right of way. They don't.

Re: “Don't Believe the Hype

I live in stabfield park too, right across from where that pizza guy got shot.

Aside from that one incident, it's a pretty quiet area.
