Re: “Don't let Snoop Dogg coming to Truro overshadow this shit move

You guys do know that the news can cover more than one thing right? The argument that Akon's charity didn't get press because of Caitlyn Jenner is ridiculous and only serves to take the focus off the real reason that it may not have gotten press: mainstream media's racism. Tearing down another person doesn't really get to the root of what we should be talking about at all. Plus, a "science project" is a pretty horrible thing to call a person.

Re: “What can you expect from the Big Lift?

There was a ton of good info. And very well presented. The main issues were that no one had info on the big questions folks seemed to have: about transit and bike and pedestrian lanes.

Re: “The Coastal Cafe

This resto was born to please me. The only thing that's sort of weird is that because of the unique plate shapes I can't rest my knife and fork on the side of my plate to indicate that I'm finished, like my Grandma always told me was the most polite table manner. So I just throw the utensils on the floor and shove fistfuls of delicious breakfast into my mouth. IT'S THAT GOOD.
