There are many things in life more complicated than buying a mattress, but sometimes it doesn’t feel that way. Spring or foam? Soft or firm? Boxspring? Frame? Pay for the store to deliver it, or tie it to the roof of your friend’s car? Not to mention the constant fluctuation in prices and sales when all you really want to do is have somewhere comfortable to bunker down and rest your head at night. We’re here to help. After a morning spent on the phone speed-dialling local mattress providers, we’ve collated and organized a list of where to find the cheapest options in town. Again—can’t stress this enough—these things go on sale often. For the sake of future student shoppers we’ve used the regular prices (where available) to organize this list. If any of the potential berths seem appealing, call ahead and see when it’s next on sale to save yourself even more money. Happy sleeping.
