Slash's conspiracy

The guitar legend brings his new band to town

Slash's conspiracy
Welcome to the jungle

LA guitar god (and lover of finely made top hats), Slash, comes to Halifax July 31 with Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators to deliver a shred-heavy evening at the Cunard Centre in support of the new album Apocalyptic Love. But the Grammy award-winning guitarist is bringing more to town than just a high-octane rock show: On top of regular admission tickets, Slash is offering an all-inclusive experience for fans with a bit of extra cash to spend. Ticket holders can upgrade their viewing experience with three special packages that include limited edition lithographs, guitar pick tins and VIP badges. But for the hard-rock fan with a bottomless bank account, for the price of $3,749 (yes, you read that correctly) fans can walk away from the show with an autographed Les Paul and meet the man behind the hat himself.

Tuesday July 31, The Cunard Centre, 961 Marginal Road, 7pm, $49.50/$52, 454-8533, sonicconcerts.com
