Sipekne'katik Alton Gas Demonstration

When: Thu., April 14, 12 p.m. 2016

The people of the Sipekne'katik Band ask concerned citizens to stand with them as they protest the Alton gas storage project and its effects on the Shubenacadie River's delicate ecosystem. Protesters will gather on the waterfront near the ferry terminal and march to the legislature to show support for the Mi'kmaq Nation.
