Shoptalk-lets

Like a diner, only more closed: Quincy's (6273 Quinpool), the first place I ate out after moving to Halifax, is no longer with us...After 12 years in business, both locations of The Cookhouse (at 1512 Dresden Row and at 85 Hector Gate, Dartmouth) have also closed...Somebody tell Bill Cosby: Freeman's Little New York has opened a second location at 1726 Grafton, the former home of The Apple Barrel...Smile-time, steak-lovers: The new Ryan Duffy's Steak & Seafood in the Radisson Suite Hotel should open sometime this week...Watch for new resto The Carleton Restaurant to open next week at 1685 Argyle, offering "really good music" and "really good food." (Best way to celebrate this news: doing "the Carlton dance," obviously.)
