Shining the Light

Self-trained visual artist Janso Isso's vivid works (that range from cityscapes to trompe l’oeil) have made him an art star of sorts in Syria, Lebanon and Qatar. Since arriving in Canada in late 2016, the artist has been starting over in life and art. See his latest works at the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning (50 Queen Street, Dartmouth).
