You may know Dartmouth's Garrett Mombourquette as Aux. Out, the musical precursor to Sea Glasses. But after a regular summer of late night recording on a shoddy four-track, and the purchase of a synth, Mombourquette found Sea Glasses better suited the direction his low-fi, drone-pop sound was going in. Mombourquette and his friend Brant Hunter (who joins him on drums) will continue to play songs from Aux. Out's late spring release Other Months with a slightly new vibe, and you can expect to hear lots from Sea Glasses in the next month or so. A split seven-inch with We Need Secrets (Kestrels' Chad Peck) and an LP are on the way.
