The true story about Luna, a young killer whale, who is separated from his family in Nootka Sound off of Vancouver Island. After becoming isolated from his pod, he begins a journey to find anything that can make him feel at ease again. Luna's only way back home is through his contact with humans. Yet the government views him as a threat to society, doing all they can to defeat this creature who only seeks a home and companionship.
