Saint Mary's Reading Series: Craig Davidson

Craig Davidson’s first short-story collection, Rust and Bone, was published in 2005 by Penguin Books, and adapted into a play by an Australian playwright and a film by a French director. During the course of his research for his The Fighter, Davidson went on a 16-week steroid cycle, and to promote the novel he participated in fully sanctioned boxing matches. His 2013 novel Cataract City was shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize. He has also published several books of horror literature using the pseudonyms Patrick Lestewka and Nick Cutter.
