Sackville Rivers Association

An environmental volunteer organization that works to preserve, restore and enhance the Sackville River and its Watershed. Started in 1988 and now with 200 members, the SRA is a registered non-profit that has restored more than 60,000 square metres of Atlantic Salmon habitat, planted more than 10,000 trees and has built more than six kilometers of multi-use use trail to bring back the public to the Sackville River. SRA has an education program called River Rangers/Fish Friends, now running in 21 classrooms educating over 600 school children about the Sackville River and the life cycle of the Atlantic Salmon.
