Rock The Hub

The downtown Truro fest snagged some epic acts this year—Sloan, Matt Mays and Wintersleep all headline the bill—but it became obvious pretty quickly that something was missing from the lineup: Women. After a Coast article by our arts editor Tara Thorne blasted the lack of gender parity of rural rock festivals and Alert The Medic! removed itself from the event, the lineup made some needed tweaks: Jessie Brown, Like A Motorcycle and Christine Campbell are now all on deck, and the fest will be hub will be rocked all the harder for it.
