Good final summary, there - Blumenthal *is* a good egg. He faithfully responds to every email & phone call I've sent him, and there've been many. I'd probably really enjoy having a backyard beer with him, and I wish him a happy retirement freed from his council responsibilities.

Having said that, his voting record shows his misplaced priorities, parochial leanings and often poor judgement.

Why are we competing with Moncton on this? We're not Moncton. We can be good at other things, like cranking out incredible musicians at an alarming rate.
