Rings Through Water

Xara Choral Theatre, Sarain Fox and Deantha Edwards explore our relationship to water with a show packed with choral and solo singing, contemporary and traditional Indigenous dance, and text and theatrical presentation. As three short stories unfold, water becomes spoken for as the voices of its protectors are amplified. "Rings Through Water is an interdisciplinary creation between five artists, three Indigenous and two Settlers. Their desire to overcome their own embodied prejudices, privilege, and pain is central to their artistic process and to the beautiful narratives of this show," Xara adds.
