Remember Me

Available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 (Capcom)

Remember Me poises intriguing extensional questions that, as a society, we are just scratching the surface of. Specifically memories in a growing world of social media and connection. As Nilin, you explore the world of Neo-Paris in the year 2084 on a mission to get your lost memories back. Remember Me is set in a world where mankind has figured out how to easily access memories, whether that be sharing, altering or deleting them. This mechanic is the most exciting and unique part of the game. Despite being set in a gorgeous world that begs to be explored, Remember Me is an extremely linear game. It makes for a claustrophobic and unfulfilled world. The combat system has the right idea, but ends up being a button masher. Remember Me has some solid parts, but feels like it tries too hard. Great conceptually, but only OK execution.
