Puddle of Mudd

Puddle of Mudd
After witnessing the resurgence enjoyed by Buckcherry and their massive single “Crazy Bitch,” Puddle of Mudd went straight into the studio with hopes of returning to the spotlight they enjoyed while Blurry was riding high on rock radio. At first listen it would be easy to write the band off, but the big surprise here is that their new album Famous---which seemed to come out of nowhere---is decent, if slightly outdated. “Psycho,” “Moonshine” and the title track, “Famous,” hark back to Puddle of Mudd’s debut album. Famous might not be great, but it might keep the Backstreet Boy/Spice Girl/Britney resurgences at bay.
