Best Public Space

Halifax Public Gardens A year ago, the Gardens were a disaster, in the wake of Hurricane Juan. But the people of Halifax opened their hearts and wallets, raising more than $1 million to fix up your pick for Halifax’s Best Public Space. The new front gate swung open this spring, and we were once again free to frolic with the downtown ducks.
