Re: “Desmond family deaths draw attention to PTSD and domestic violence

PTSD is a huge risk factor and can be highly dangerous, especially in anyone with a HISTORY of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE charges or sexual assault.

There are countless cases of homicides where PTSD was the main factor. The second main factor being DOMESTIC or SEXUAL ABUSE histories in the perpetrators - either charges, convictions or other background.

PTSD is a huge RED FLAG, especially in anyone with charges or convictions for DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. Anyone with those 2 factors needs to be carefully monitored!

It only takes a second to go from a dangerous level of 0 to 10, and then you've got body bags.

The warning signs are there almost 100% of the time, the two main risk factors being
1. a diagnosis of PTSD
2. a history of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE
