Project Olympic runway

My dream comes true

There's only one show that can interrupt my newfound Olympic obsession, and that's Project Runway, the Heidi Klum-helmed fashion designer competition. So you can imagine how thrilled we were when this week's challenge was to design an opening ceremony outfit for the American Olympic team.

Some of the contestants had never watched the Olympics before, and most of them had no idea that athletes have shoulders and muscles and wow! bodies, which made for some bizarro outfits.

Korto won the challenge. She played it too safe, I think.

Jennifer lost. Is there anything, anything here that says Olympics, unless you're the quiet but kinky librarian. They have those there, right?

Terri shoulda won. I'd learn how to do archery or perfect my table-tennis game to wear that outfit.

Oh, Jerrell. Sheep-herding hasn't been an Olympic event since 1976.

For a couple weeks at this time of year, the blooming cherry trees on Park Avenue make for the ultimate photo backdrop in the city. But what’s the most photogenic location year-round in HRM?
