Preservation Hall Jazz Band w/Booty Boppin Brass Band
When: Sun., July 17, 8:30 p.m. 2016
New Orleans' jazz finds an authentic home in the big sound of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Named for the city's Preservation Hall, the band is family tradition, with Creative Director Ben Jaffe touring the hits that made the venue his parents founded an American landmark. Their classic sounds will be sharing the stage with Booty Boppin' Brass Band, Halifax's Mike Cowie's high-energy Nola-inspired dance/jazz group.
