portal 2

Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 (valve Corporation)

With some interesting additions and a far more compelling story, Portal 2 makes the original Portal look like a small taste of what Valve actually wanted. Doing away with sterile white walls, Portal 2 takes place in a vibrant world with overgrown vegetation, decrepit facilities and much more “behind-the-scenes” areas of the Aperture Laboratories. Despite having a protagonist who doesn’t talk in a game with no human contact, there’s plenty of hilarious “dialogue.” With the voice talents of Stephen Merchant and JK Simmons, there’s plenty to laugh about. The multi-player is one of the best additions to this sequel. Online or split-screen co-op, you and a friend can tackle puzzles requiring great co-operation and patience. With solo and co-op, the ramping difficulty of this spatial puzzle game should take about 14 hours. Make sure you play with a friend you’re not likely to strangle.
