Re: “Halifax’s mail fail

The best judge of that corner's safety would be the postie who delivers to it. If he/she doesn't feel safe in the winter, an OHS complaint would probably change Canada Post's mind.

Re: “You.

You switched locations just to tell one person not to buy your coffee? That's weird.

Re: “transit signs, signs everywhere a sign - yet so few seem to comprehend

This is like every single transit bitch ever condensed into one. It's like a greatest hits album, except this one would be titled "Another Bus Bitch"

Re: “It’s More Than Buses

I admire the ambition behind this project. I doubt HT will adopt this exactly (a lot of neighbourhoods got left out in this plan, plus it ignores Burnside, a place that could use less traffic) but the idea of fewer stops and better infrastructure is one that should be pushed hard. Hopefully HT can have some collaboration with your group.

Re: “Stranded by Halifax Transit

Why did we travel around in horse-drawn carriages? Why did we throw our sewage out the window? Why were buses equipped with 4 point tie downs? Because at the time, it was the best option available. But people come up with improvements, so now we have cars, sewage systems, and as blindcane explained very clearly, passive restraint systems that are easy in, easy out for both passenger and driver.

If you're not willing to try it, that's fine, but take responsibility for that choice and leave Halifax Transit and its drivers out of it.

Re: “Stranded by Halifax Transit

People aren't going to give you sympathy if you're not willing to actually try. I proposed a way for you to show that your truth is the real truth. The truth must be seen to be believed, so prove it to us.

People will not believe someone who resorts to insults when challenged.

Re: “Hamachi Steakhouse

My experience with the Bishop's Landing location has been nothing short of amazing. I was able to come in with no reservation and got a standard table. Our server was amazing to the point that when I went to the bathroom and came back, there was a new pop waiting for me (refills are free). He always said cheers and answered all of our questions without sounding the least bit snarky. The food was amazing with my salmon being cooked just right and everything seeming fresh. The experience that night was great, and we both had a great time.
