Part of the Click

Weirdo Click is doin' it for the kids.

Weirdo Click tear it up regardless of the audience.

In the last video they dropped on Facebook, Alex "Bueller" William is an impenetrable force. "Tell me what you want/out of this life," he repeats hypnotically enough that you think he might be talking to you. Bright lights blur in the background and his flow is easy, throwaway, a little "take it or leave it, but I know you're going to take" sort of vibe. This is what it feels like when you're listening to the next big thing and Weirdo Click is already there, set up to conquer it all. The guys (William, Jacob "Two-Two" Toney and Austin "Aux" Jennings) have a 40-to-45- song tape coming, recently shared a stage with Riff Raff and are planning to join XXYYXX on Thursday, too, but there's something special about an all-ages show like Saturday's. "It's very rare that we get to do that type of thing," says William. "So we really think of what we're doing and not just in the city but as a whole—we really do it with young people in mind, that's who we really try to speak to." It's like being a muse, Halifax.
