Parsley Sound
Parsley Sounds
(Mo’Wax)
Not since the Beta Band have loops and scratchy samples been so exciting. Sounds like someone recorded this in the back of a barn with lots of love. This is an acoustic-loop-trip, with vocal stylings not unlike Ween. It’s scrappy samples, sweet melodies and Atari beats tossed into a laptop and accompanied by acoustic guitar, or not, creating lo-fi sonic landscapes that are more sunny-day lazy than chill. Parsley Sound is Danny Sargassa and Preston Mead, and let’s thank their folks for having them.
