No I was totally lying - adding to the fear. Let's get real people, these things are super tiny. The only thing smaller is a ladybug or a piece of dust. Seriously. And at least here they aren't too poisonous - but not too many die from spider venom anyway (but its not worth finding stats on it).
Stay calm.
The thing about dock spiders (or wharf/rock spiders whatever) is that they ARE a little poisonous. They excrete a mild anaesthetic that that allows their prey to stay alive while they eat them. Anyway, that anaesthetic works on us too. In the night time they move towards heat, and in the day they burrow away from heat. So if you are camping or they are in the house they will be attracted to your body heat and will actually "burrow" inside you but you won't feel it. Anyway, its pretty common for them to lay eggs into you, you might be carrying around spider eggs feeding from you and just waiting to hatch and climb out of you right now.
Anybody in any store can only ask you to do one thing: and that's to leave. Here are a few tips in dealing with security guards.
- You do not have to comply if they ask you to go anywhere (ie. a back room or security room), you do not have to comply if they ask you to stay in the store, the only thing you have to comply with is to leave the store.
- If they do detain you without arresting you, then its illegal. If they forcible detain you without arresting you, then you stay in public view, try and call the police and then you have the right to press charges against them.
- If they arrest you (they really can't unless you have done something really really bad, ie not shoplifting), then stay in public and you can press charges if the law was broken.
- They cannot search you in any manner, unless you consent to it.
- Some places try to check your bags and receipts before you leave the store, if you do not consent then you are legally allowed to leave the property. If they get upset then the same rules apply.
Wow, this broad sounds like the one in a group that had all the answers for everyone else, but can never get a guy for herself because she is too demanding, irritating and possessive. You know the one....
Way to direct your friend's lives!
People who have attitudes like the OP are so simple-mined and uni-dimensional. First off, punishment does not deter crime. So you can house people in a 4x5 cell for thirty years, but your house is still going to get broken into. What does deter crime? EDUCATION, GOOD ECONOMY and DECENT JOBS.
Second off, there are many out there who are victims of the justice system. People who get jailed because they are set up by the cops, or because they are Indians or blacks. A harsh prison system unfairly targets the underprivileged and undereducated.
Say it again with me, it bears repeating: A harsh prison system unfairly targets the underprivileged and undereducated.
Besides, you very rarely ever see the real crooks behind bars.
Ok OP, you can quit the hipster twee act and level with us: you really got those huge glasses because all your friends were wearing them and you haven't a single ounce of originality. Which belies the fact you *want* to have originality because you wear fashionably unfashionable over-sized eyeglasses.
Your glasses aren't "neat". But they do tell the world you are a trend follower, the key word being "follower".
Youth Live is like a chain gang. They lowball every contract they bid on, it puts a stress on other Nova Scotia recyclers. Also, I knew a guy who worked at Otter Lake - basically standing beside a conveyor belt sifting through peoples garbage all day long. He was a special kind of person.
