A week where composers and singers from across North America craft six original, mini operas from scratch, culminating in a collective performance at the fest's end.
Each is meant to be an ode to Nova Scotia, so stop by if you're needing a dose of musical artistry or hometown pride.
Events consist of a 10am lecture about a particular operatic element and a 5pm workshop where the morning's ideas are put to practice. Catch the lectures and workshops at room 406 of the Rebecca Cohan Arts Centre (6101 University Avenue) and the final performance at Saint Matthews United Church (1479 Barrington Street).
