Re: “I don't owe you shit

you're a fucking loser OP. why were you SOOO against telling her that you didnt want to hook up anymore? yeah i get it, you weren't boyfriend and girlfriend but you were FUCKING. the LEAST you could do is tell her you found someone else. If you had behaved like a mature adult, you could have told her you wanted to end your hook ups. Instead, you PRETENDED as though you had never even met her. It's actually quite cowardly and pathetic. It's about character. You have a weak one. Why were you soooo against telling her that you no longer wanted to hook up? So you can take the pussy but youre not man enough to say when you dont want it anymore. What a fucken idiot cunt you are. Learn to respect yourself, your sex life and the people you bring into it by acting like an adult.

Re: “Just another rant

AWWW OP this is so sweet, honest and touching. I liked it. It willget better, I know you are frustrated and stressed right now. When you are done doing what you need be doing here you will leave. Try to use your time in Halifax to better yourself as much as possible. Try the shambala centre, maybe some meditation? I know that sounds silly, but I think you make something out of the situation you are in. It wont be easy but you can, and you will figure out what you want to do or be, just get out in there in world. Keep your head up, Ive been where you are, and I stilll go back there on some days lol. Theres people who feel just like you. Stay strong and focused, and dont let things shake you.

Re: “A right? No. Privilege? Yes.

Also, OP, lol how would you have people lobby THE GOVERNMENT for change lol? you said you have the things you have by privilige, which is true, but technically they are a right. however, only a priviledged few actually get to access those rights. by claiming those things as rights, you are asking that access to them be had everyone and not just your own priviledged self. ya heard me?

Re: “A right? No. Privilege? Yes.

LOLOL this post was one of the stupidest things i have read in a long time. are you sure that you are in university lolol? calling it a right is not a smack in the face u dum dum lol. by calling education, housing, food etc. a rights, or appealing to a rights-based argument, what occupiers and others are doing is demanding that the government take responsibility to ensure that such basic human RIGHTS are enforced. It is the government's JOB to protect it's citizen's RIGHTS, so by reminding the government that food, shelter etc are RIGHTS, and by also reminding the government of the fact that many people go without food, shelter etc., they are demanding that the government do their job and protect it's citizen's RIGHTS. Yes, it is a privilege to have those things, but constitutionally it is also a RIGHT, and the fact that many people dont have these things mean their RIGHTS as CANADIAN CITIZENS are being BROKEN. Do you understand?

Re: “Our woman in Havana

"I do have certain romantic notions of spicy Cuban fare...": Cuban food is NOT spicy, Anyone with even the slightest knowledge of Carribbean food knows that Cuban food is NOT known for its spiciness. Maybe it was because you were being swept away by the the whole "hot-blooded, exotic Latin" stereotype, or maybe because other West-Indian islands such as Jamaica, are known to have some spicy dishes. Either way, get it straight, those type of comments just make you lose credibility and make you seem simple.

Re: “Boneheads BBQ

you know what? I just re-read my review of here from last year and I want to say that I came back and it was not as awful as I said it was that time. The food was tasty and warm, the service was friendly and I would go back if I wanted something similar.
