American spelling on the sign promoting Citadel High Theatre's legacy campaign.

American spelling on the sign promoting Citadel High Theatre's legacy campaign.

Remarks: If the uptake is slow on the legacy fund, perhaps the sign is to blame: Using the American spelling in the url brings you to a dead web page. There's no excuse, really; even American thespians (a welcome fifth column) use the -re spelling for theatre. One of you students get out there and switch the letters around, willya? The rest of us should go to the properly spelled website -citaldelhightheatre.com - and consider contributing.

Who's Responsible?: Fair-weather patriots not fully committed to battling the evil empire.

Status: August 2008: Resolved The sign, with its American spelling, has been removed. Updated by Amanda Wenek
