Oh hear us, Rob | Opinion | Halifax, Nova Scotia | THE COAST

To the editor,

This may or may not be newsworthy but I thought it'd be a nice throwback to the whole Celine Dion thing.

The masses of Halifax fans who are saddened by the fact Rob Zombie doesn't appear on the Ozzy Osbourne concert bill, despite opening for Osbourne for the entire Canadian tour minus the Maritime dates, are now directing the same power—that gave Celine Dion the boot from the Common next summer—towards gaining Mr. Zombie's attention with a message. The almighty Halifax fans have spoken...and they want Rob Zombie to play Halifax.

A fast-growing Facebook group called "Rob Zombie: Please come to the Maritimes!" aims to attract Rob Zombie's attention and tell him he has a legion of fans here and they indeed want to see and experience the More Human than Human Horror Director/Electric Head that is Rob Zombie.

With more than 450 members doing their best to use their power for good...will it be enough to bring Rob Zombie to the Metro Centre in January?

Now, like I said, this may be a comedic throwback to the whole Celine Dion thing. And I'm sure any exposure they get would all be positive, too. Peace.
