Nova Scotia Public Interest Research Group (NSPIRG)

NSPIRG is an actively campaigning social and environmental justice organization, serving Dalhousie and Saint Mary's universities and the city beyond. A non-profit funded by students, it is beholden to nobody but its members as it initiates research around environmental and social issues, publishing the findings independently, educating on political dissent and facilitating grassroots projects. Examples of its environment-oriented work include coordinating SeeMore Green, a creative, community-based garden.
