Nights of Gore Members Pick

When: Fridays-Sundays. Continues through Oct. 27 2013
Price: $8-$20
Between the pitch black country roads and the build up of waiting in line, you're heart is guaranteed to pound out of your chest as you anxiously venture through the harvest. Nights of Gore, the closest maze to Halifax, begins this Friday, September 27 (with farmer/Big Brother Canada celeb Emmett Blois and his former roomies Andrew and BBCan winner Jillian barbecuing from 7 to 8pm), and runs Friday through Sunday until October 27. I screamed myself voiceless in Gore last year and this year there's a haunted house too, so I expect peed pants. —Allison Saunders

We are only an approximate 45 minute drive away from the city! Plently of time to get yourself prepared for the scariest night of your life.

1. Take Highway 102 until you reach the Elmsdale Exit.

2. Turn left at the stop lights.

3. Drive about 4 minutes until you reach a stop sign, then turn left.

4. Continue Driving until you come to a sign that says "Cheese Factory Corner" with a sign beside it that points to Gore and Kennetcook. Veer right towards these signs. (Make sure you do not take the sharp right - that will take you far away.)

5. You will now be on Highway 202. Stay on the 202, you will see a sign that says "Gore" with a left turn just ahead; take the left turn. You will still be on Highway 202.

6. Drive 30 seconds until you see a big blue Farm. You have arrived.
