This is an amazing and progressive move from the NFB. Right now over 700 films are available online for free, any time, and in high-resolution. New films will be added on a weekly basis from the NFB's catalogue of over 13,000 productions.

According to NFB, films from the Atlantic region that are already available include: Bronwen and Yaffa (Moving Towards Tolerance) (dir: Peter d'Entremont, prod. Mike Mahoney); Don't Blink (dir: Heather Harkins; prod. Michael Fukushima); Reema: There and Back (Paul Emile d'Entremont, Jacques Turgeon); Rivers to the Sea (dir. John Brett, prod. John Brett & Kent Nason); Speak It! From the Heart of Black Nova Scotia (dir. Sylvia Hamilton, prod. Mike Mahoney); and Westray (NS: Paul Cowan, Kent Martin).
