While it was Nelly Furtado’s collaboration with Timbaland on 2006’s Loose that solidified her place on the pop map, it’s unlikely that the majority of listeners have wondered how these songs would translate into a live setting. There is no question Furtado is a talented vocalist, but this live CD/DVD package fails to properly capture anything more than your hard-earned cash. The CD gives the distinct feeling of being in a big auditorium. Unfortunately, Furtado’s vocals end up getting buried deep, deep into the mix. Her stage banter does emerge and is amusing from time to time, but ultimately, this is a disappointing effort.
