Halifax celebrates another cycle through the zodiac with lots of long weekend fun, including a triple hit of fireworks: See a showing of sky sparklers from the Halifax Harbour August 4 at 10pm (Alderney Landing will be a prime viewing spot), the Halifax Common August 5 at 9:30pm and at Lake Banook August 6 at 9:45pm.
