Re: “Stupid parents

I agree with this post up until the very last line. I consider myself a young mother; had 2 children by the time I hit 24. Although I am young, I was raised by a woman who took no shit off of anyone and expected everyone around her to have manners and treat people with respect. This is how I raise my children today. They will not leave the bus, the grocery store or any office without saying, "thank you" and "have a nice day". My eldest just turned 5. There are a shitload of horrible mothers and fathers, young and old...I am tired of people assuming I am a shit mother because I am young. It's also worse for me because although I will turn 30 this summer, I look 22. The looks I get while out with my children is ridiculous. Mind you, those looks change when they see how well behaved my children are. Not all young parents are shit and not all older parents are doing a good job.

Re: “Unplanned parenthood

fuck this OP...I am almost 30 yet look 22 with 2 children under the age of 5, I sometimes take care of my friends children who are also under the age of 8. Are you telling me that if you saw me at the grocery store you would assume they were all mine and pull that shit?!! I have mastered the art of telling people off (I can't go around knocking douchebags like you out when my children are present) and you would have left that line with your head down and tail inbetween your legs, no doubt. And yes, there are many people who abuse the Child Tax Benefit and Welfare but there are also single moms like myself that work our asses off and still that isn't enough it seems. Trying to raise 2 children with healthy eating habits costs me $200 a week, sometimes if it weren't for the Child Tax Benefit my children would be eating the shit most kids are.

Re: “Your service sucked!

I don't usually respond to bitches, but I have to say something about this one; the OP is wrong on soooo many levels. For one, the server told him she was by herself, right there something called sympathy should have come into play. I agree, waiting for drinks, having to ask for a bill sucks but it's different when there is only one server on the floor. You can tell by the post that the OP has never had a serving job because anyone that has would NEVER bitch one out for that. We have all been there before. The OP is an asshat for only leaving a penny, if the service was awful and she WASN'T the only one working ok fine, you're still a douche but I can understand more. Getting that penny probably made her feel even more like a bag'oshit over something that she could not control. Why didn't the OP ask the manager why he didn't help her by taking a few tables?!!! I feel like the manager is at fault in this case because he should have taken a few off of her hands; you don't become manager without serving first so it's not like he doesn't know what he's doing. Sounds like the manager kinda likes being in charge and is the type of douche that would feel it was beneath him to take tables now that he's "running the show". The server shouldn't have been bitched out in this case, the manager should have been. If someone calls in sick and the manager doesn't make them find a replacement or they've hired people with whack availabilty, the manager is required to pick up the slack.

Re: “Lazy Parents!

very clear the op has no clue what they're bitching about. Did you ever think that the mother has things she has to cart home after her trip out? I have 2 kids, ages 2&3 (my 3 year old looks like she's 5), and when I get my groceries I have to take my stroller so I can get them home. Gonna call me lazy?
