Minus World doesn't stop. Immediately after Justin Wiles and Kat Williams wrapped their first little maritime tour last weekend, what did they do? They kept on rehearsing. And they're proving the point that hard work pays off. Just over a year old, the duo has recently received a Music Nova Scotia nomination for Best Electronic Album for their debut EP, which they'll be celebrating the release of at the CoHo on Saturday. Yeah, these guys know what's up. "Our hope is that Minus World engages listeners on a level they didn't expect and elevates their expectations of the genre," says Wiles. "Electronica is still unexplored territory as far as we're concerned. It's part of the appeal!" Minus World is also generous. Their award-nominated EP of catchy, intricately woven electro songs for free on their bandcamp site, but only until October 1. It's a gift you can't refuse.
