Miesha & The Spanks are back for more

With a new full length record Gods of Love, Calgary's garage rockers return to Halifax.

Miesha Louie calls her fourth release Gods of Love, "a picture of everything that can happen when you're in love." The full-length snapshot captures a "love saga" of hers, from one-night stand, to relationship, to heartbreak and all the way back again. And she's travelling east with that saga for what will be her fifth trip to Halifax in a few years. The fierce frontwoman says that touring once a year just isn't worth it, hence why she and her Spanks are no strangers to the road, heading out at least three or four times a year. This time she's got two gents making their first trip east in tow. She plans to play tour guide to the Spanks' new addition Chris Neville and stand-in drummer Neil Lute for their first trip (and her fifth) to Peggys Cove.

Saturday June 4, Gus' Pub & Grill, 2605 Agricola Street, 10pm,$5
