Mezza to close its Quinpool location

More shawarma is coming, though

The ever-growing Mezza Lebanese Kitchen restaurant chain announced this morning that after 10 years in business, its fine dining, eat-in location on Quinpool Road will close its doors on August 1. Get your Mediterranean fixes while you can!

The closure of Mezza (6386 Quinpool Road) marks an even tighter focus on the brand's mega popular "fast-casual" locations—which now serve shawarma and more from Barrington Street, Burnside, Sackville, Clayton Park and even Dubai. The Nahas family promises there'll be more of those locations to come in Tantallon, Cole Harbour and Herring Cove, plus a Calgary post of Johnny K's Authentic Donair—Mezza's pizza corner, sister restaurant— is on its way, too.

Global shawarma-ing is real.
