Mellotones stolen gear

Pass it on, stealing is wrong

Mellotones' bass players Mike Farrington and Serge Samson have had a run of bad luck.

Farrington's blue Yorkville 2x10 bass cabinet was stolen from the Seahorse backstage area, last used on December 29. Serge Samson had his gear stolen from the Lord Nelson Hotel sometime between January 1 and 3. He lost a Sunburst Fender P bass copy with a gold anodized pick guard and cream pickups, a Peavey 2x10TX cabinet, a Gallien Krueger 400RB. He has seen a video tape of someone stealing his gear and has given it to the police, but the gear has not been found and can't get the tape back.

Farrington's plea: "This gear is key to our income. It's strange that both of us play bass for the Mellotones and the gear was missing from Mellotones gigs. Feel free to contact me at 495-9354, or Serge Samson at 441-7253."
