Dr. Fever, I'm pretty sure the Pubs is a nickname.. possibly for "public housing"? I'm sure it is, but I'm not sure if that's what it stands for haha.

Bluebelle, I completely understand where you're coming from, and I do agree too that the bitch was very poorly argued.

"I must say, I am relieved to see that you, megsee, are much more articulate."
    Thank you, that's why I'm in I.B. haha. : )

zZz, I don't think they can move the sheet. They have it at the beginning of each hallway and they only let students into the hallway if they have a legitimate place to go, and also if they have a class at that time (ie. not on their free / break). It's not really for attendance, it's more so for the congestion / noise issues in the halls when classes have started. However, they really don't monitor the sheet well considering you actually CAN put down a completely ridiculous, fake name and the teacher / monitor doesn't notice...

BlueBelle, the reason for the sign in sheets is actually because students are not allowed in the hallways during class times if they have a free or some other excuse. It distracts the teachers, and they make a lot of noise. I'm actually another student from that school, and I have to say... the sign in sheet is kind of annoying. It really does create congestion in the hallways which really is a nuisance, but I understand why they have it.

However, back to the bitch... I don't really agree with teachers being bitchy about lates. Whenever I'm late, they either ignore me or give me a look... but I don't remember any teachers making a scene over a late. I actually think I only have maybe... one late on my report card? What kind of teachers do you have......?

kilo: women do hold doors open for men...

It's just common courtesy to hold the door for anyone. I don't see a man holding the door for a woman as "chivalry" but as a genuine gesture of courtesy as is the same if a man held the door open for another man. No one wants a door slammed in their face.
