I agree that enforcement would have been a nightmare. We have had Smoke Free Places provincial legislation for years now, since the NDP brought it in. I have called and complained numerous times and nobody wanted to enforce it. Not the police, the bylaw officers nor health and wellness personnel. The fact remains that smokers refuse to manage themselves and their habit/addiction. I certainly wouldn't care if they smoked. It is the use of bus shelters and other spaces where smokers force it on all of us, whether we want it or not. I am asthmatic yet I am forced to breathe clouds of smoke walking down the sidewalks. I chose not to shop on SGR for that very reason. As consumers, we can choose where we shop. Some of us choose not to shop in areas where smoking is forced upon us. Downtown streets are perfect examples.

what's the diff what the number is? It is not like they did not post the upcoming change on every route.
