Lots more rat-a-poo-y?

To the editor,

Re: "Claw enforcement" by Lezlie Lowe, November 1. In everything I have heard and read about cat concerns, I have yet to see any reference to the fact that our furry feline friends provide a valuable service. Just last week I watched a neighbour's cat walking in front of our house on Henry Street, carrying in his mouth his latest catch---another neighbour's unwelcome mouse guest.

Has council considered that reducing cat mobility will result in a significant increase in our city's rodent population?
