Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonely Boys

Los Lonely Boys
Los Lonely Boys
(Epic)
Having learned their chops in Dad’s band, the Garza brothers storm out of the starting gate polished, poignant and pumped. Guitarist Henry reveals some time spent at the school of Stevie Ray Vaughn and Carlos Santana while clearly strutting his own style. Similar in some ways to alphabetic rack-mates Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys embrace more tradition in their “Texican” rock. A few songs like the hit “Heaven” and “More Than Love” border on boy-band cheese to ensure a popularity that grants exposure to a ripsnorter like “Crazy Dream”… and the drummer’s name is Ringo.
