Re: “Smoke's Poutinerie

I went on a Sunday around 3pm, there were only a few people on there not a busy time. Store was cute on the smaller size but there was lots of seats that day,

As it was my first time I took a look over there board, it can be a lil scary but decided on the classic to try that first.

I ordered a small, cashier said it would be enough, and a pop, cost $8.05 good price. The wait was not long at all about 5 minute's.

It was piping hot, I took a seat by the window, let it rest a moment, then dug in.

The fries were good, but as what happens for most poutine they are a lil soggy due to the gravy, only place I have not found that was across the rd at Willy's, there's are super crispy. But even a little bit soggy were very good, they were seasoned well. Small was enough for me I could have split it with someone.

The Gravy was very good as well, good ration of fries and gravy. I like mine with a little less pepper but that would be my only change.

My only thing that does not make them the best if the cheese Curd they use, it is not "squeaky" enough, melt's to much, I found when it did melt there was to much cheese. They need a better quality Curd.

I will be going back tho again and again lol next time will try one with topping's on it. They place is clean, has great hours and the only thing that not perfect was the cheese and it was still good.

Update to my prior review starting "went on a Sunday around 3pm" Since writing this Smoke's has crispier fries and the cheese to a real "squeaky Curd" having made these changes and the topping avail they have out beaten all and have the best poutine :)
