    legalize and regulate!
that is the only way to achieve quality control. hardly anyone dies these days from tainted booze, unlike in the 30s with the prohibition.

i guarantee that Paul will use this opportunity to talk about seals. that is why pro-sealers are opposed to this.
and you grew up listening to the beatles? NEWSFLASH! Paul isnt the beatles. he is 1/4 of the band. its like saying that i will go to a foo fighters show, because i grew up with nirvana. one has nothing to do with the other, except one band member.
its almost like a once in a lifetime chance to see an all-star cover band and pay hundreds of bucks for it.

SwampDonkey: actually, depending on what the lobster eats when it is feeding, its flesh can be deadly poisonous to humans.

it is to protect us, the consumers from being sold tainted seafood (the stuff can kill you), and to ensure that we are sold lobster that hasnt gone bad yet. forty bucks is not that much, its like what, the price of 6-8 lobsters at the prices the fishermen sell them from the trucks? when i first heard about it, i was outraged as well, but the price, and the fact that the vendors will be monitored by the government to avoid sale of tainted/spoiled to the consumers.

stop doing it for them, and have them live in their own filth for a bit? if you keep cleaning up after them, then they will never learn to appreciate the cleanliness. i know i didnt.

im utterly surprised that this hasnt been mentioned yet.

one of my acquaintances was taking an class titled Evolution at one of the universities, it is a requisite for the Marine Biology degree. one day, a student came up to the prof and started chewing him/her out for not paralelly teaching creationism in the class; the prof (apparently, from the story i heard from the acquaintance) quietly heard her out, and told her to get the f out of his/her classroom.

good thing we are not in Kansas.
