Just Friends Brunch: Laura Peek & The Winning Hearts, Hymm, Brent Randall, Just Friends Tribute to Fleetwood Mac

Yesterday's gone, you're hung over and in need of a refuel before the last Pop Explosion night---all signs point to the Just Friends brunch, which'll fill you up with food prepared and served by the multi-talented musicians. Laura Peek & The Winning Hearts, Hymm and Brent Randall will all be doing their own sets, as well as performing with guests Mike O'Neill, Christina Martin, Dale Murray, Huron and members of Long Long Long to give you a Fleetwood Mac tribute for dessert. Organizer and Just Friends co-founder Mat Dunlap lists off Fleetwood Mac-inspired dishes, including The Stevie Waffles ("a super sweet breakfast fit for a gypsy topped with a perry sauce"), The Lindsey Waffles ("go your own way with this savoury, cornmeal waffle and potatoes"), The Gold Dust Slammwich ("an epic morning sandwich and potatoes that's sure to knock you on your ass") and You Make Brunchin' Fun Granola ("we'll be your sugar daddy and load you up with a heap of homemade granola, served with a landslide of fruit salad"). As for the mountain of dishes that'll come from all this: "Matt [Charlton, HPX and Just Friends publicist] is just washing our dishes. We wouldn't let him near a spatula." promises Dunlap. Shovel it all in until the food disappears, which Dunlap says is normally around 12:30 or 1pm. -Holly Gordon
