Published November 18, 2004.Jon EpworthTwo Sessions(tiktoktiktokmusic) With an intentionally random collection of songs, the man they call Horseface delivers a resume of his range on Two Sessions. Appropriately, the album divides into two pieces, one from each of the aforementioned sessions. Session one ranges in mood from straight-up rock to an organic take on Radiohead’s Kid A sound. Session two splinters away from the first half of the album with four short and screaming tracks. While the bipolar, mid-album switch can be jarring, something about the songs holds the disc together. More great work from a man whose time is well overdue. —Matt Charltoncategories: ECMA nominee (2007)
