John Stiles reads at King's

Novelist, poet and documentary filmmaker John Stiles reads tonight, 7pm, at the Wardroom, King's College (6350 Coburg). Port Williams-born Stiles, whose film Scouts are Cancelled won best doc at last year's Atlantic Film Festival, has a new novel out, Taking the Stairs. It's about a down-and-out writer working on his first novel. hmmm. I'm reading it right now---expect a review soon.

Stiles will be joined by The Sorrys. (he and Sorry Trevor Millett go way back).
