If the dog was loved, he would likely be taken on more walks and fed healthy. I look at fat dogs and fat kids all the same. They're not disliked, they're just the victims of poor parenting and often laziness. Don't take it as an insult. If you goto Asia, the locals will point out saying "your arms are hairly", "you are tall", or "you are fat". Its not an insult, its an observation.
