Jane's Walk: Still standing in north end Dartmouth

When: Sat., May 4, 3:30-5 p.m. 2019
This Jane's Walk—a citizen-led stroll that explores neighbourhoods in the legacy of walkable cities advocate Jane Jacobs—sees participants meet at the corner of Windmill Road and Grove Street, Dartmouth, to trace the impacts of the Halifax Explosion on this neighbourhood. Walkers are given 30 photos of explosion-damaged buildings, and will be shown the dozens of settler homes still standing today on the trek.
